Caring

Siglap Hearty Meal

Siglap Hearty Meals brings together volunteer and SATS chefs to prepare monthly community meals for seniors using locally sourced ingredients from community gardens and food donations. This 'farm-to-table' initiative serves 1,200 elderly residents, combining nutritious dining with social activities to foster community bonds and combat isolation.

Our Tote-rific Community

Our Tote-rific Community, an SG60 fundraising initiative, aims to raise $60,000 for 60 special needs residents in Siglap. Through our established upcycling group, 100 volunteers create customisable tote bags from donated fabric, selling them for $10-$100 at community events. This project combines sustainability with community service, aligning with East Coast's Green Pillar while supporting those in need.

Siglap Plate It Forward

Our meal voucher programme supports 40 low-income seniors with monthly $10 vouchers for use at partner eateries, who contribute an additional $2 per meal. Community members can easily donate through QR codes, helping ensure our elderly residents enjoy regular, dignified dining experiences.

Vibrant

Siglap Kidz Club

Our dedicated children's programme at the Community Club offers diverse activities that promote child development while strengthening parent-child relationships. The club engages 250 families through regular educational and recreational activities.

East Coast GRC Hari Raya Cookies Baking

Our community baking initiative brings residents and volunteers together to prepare and distribute homemade Hari Raya cookies to 1,000 low-income families, fostering festive spirit and neighbourly care.

Youth Conversations

Through regular dialogue sessions with Dr Maliki Osman and peers, 343 young Siglap residents discuss their aspirations, challenges, and ideas for community improvement. These conversations create meaningful connections while empowering youth to shape their community's future.

Green

East Coast Green Savers

Our eco-initiative has equipped 2,900 residents with reusable dining kits (lunch box, tumbler, cutlery, and woven bag). These items unlock merchant discounts across East Coast, encouraging sustainable habits while helping residents save on daily expenses.

Siglap Food Rescue and Collection

Our comprehensive food redistribution programme combines monthly door-to-door food collections, community garden harvests from ten sites, and regular donation drives. This initiative supports 50 low-income families monthly, with 800 beneficiaries reached to date, while promoting food waste reduction and community sharing.

Siglap Edibles Workshop

Supporting Singapore's "30 by 30" food security goal, our urban farming programme has trained 350 residents in growing edibles within limited spaces. Participants receive hands-on training and starter kits, empowering them to contribute to local food production from their homes.
