Since its inception, our free grooming service has provided haircuts and nail care to around 500 elderly residents, thanks to our dedicated volunteer beauticians and hairstylists.
Free TCM services for all ages at Bedok RN Centres. Till date about 300 residents have been engaged.
Working with volunteer lawyers, we've helped 600 residents from public and private estates secure their Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), enabling them to plan for their future well-being.
Partnering with artists and residents to co-create and paint murals, fostering a vibrant community. These void deck murals also serve as wayfinding signs to help seniors navigate their way home with symbolic artworks. A total of about 100 residents had been involved in this programme.
Displaying residents’ artworks at void decks to highlight and recognize local community artists. A total of about 1000 artworks have been showcased in the community.
A platform for the Adviser and agencies to share updates on government policies and estate developments with residents. These sessions provide an opportunity for residents to voice their concerns and collaborate with agencies on implementing ground-up initiatives. Approximately 2,000 residents have been engaged.
Collaborating with the Fridge Restock community and Merchants’ Associations to provide “ugly” fruits and vegetables to residents on a bi-weekly basis. This initiative promotes healthy eating while helping residents save on grocery costs. A total of about 1000 residents have been benefited through this programme.
Distributing harvests from community gardens to seniors to foster a “sharing is caring” mindset. A total of about 500 seniors have been benefited through this programme.
To encourage recycling in the community, the RNs organize a monthly recycling drive, providing residents with a convenient way to recycle their items. Till date we have reached out to about 600 residents.
