The Monthly Ration Distribution is set up by Kembangan-Chai Chee Citizens’ Consultative Committee (K-CC CCC) in 2018 to help less the less fortunate put food on the table and to also ease the financial burden faced by them such as not having them to choose between paying their utility expenses or purchasing groceries for their family.
The free haircuts for seniors serves seniors with mobility issues, encouraging them to get out of their houses and providing them with ample opportunities to chat with their neighbours and make new friends.
The Kembangan-Chai Chee Flu Jab Exercise is set up by Kembangan-Chai Chee Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) in 2022 to provide Flu Jab to families with seniors or individuals who are senior who do not have the financial means to afford the jab. The purpose of this grant is to encourage elderly to go for the flu jab to protect them during the flu wave period. This will in turn protect them from get any flu like symptom.
The Ping Yi Greens Clean and Green is an annual event that was started by Ping Yi Greens RN to get the residents to come down to play a part in cleaning up the estate following with a luncheon get together. This event aims to give a sense of ownership to the residents.
The installation was initiated by the Chai Chee Merchants Association to celebrate the festive season. The lighting enhanced the festive mood and has attracted a significant number of residents to spend their free time with their loved ones.
The event celebrates Winter Solstice (Eastern culture), Christmas (Western culture), and marks Ping An Green RC's 10th anniversary. The committee aims to provide a platform for residents of all ages, races and religions to mingle and have fun.
The community garden has given the residence the responsibilities to garden and learn from other residents. The community garden currently is undertaking the hydroponics gardening that was introduced recently. Residents can come down and learn from the gardeners.
Project Rescue Veggies has benefitted 400 recipients across Kembangan-Chai Chee Division on a weekly basis. The compost from the leftover vegetables and fruits has helped the RC save on costs of purchasing fertilisers for the community garden.
